Achieving School Maths Potential

Too many schools are entering pupils for their GCSE Mathematics early, according to the ‘Mathematics Made to Measure’ Ofsted report. This prevents too many able pupils from fulfilling their potential.

The Schools Minister, Nick Gibb has said given the importance of maths for the economy and for the individual student, he would be asking schools to be even more ambitious when it comes to maths attainment at every stage of a child’s education.

SciEnts has a number of maths performers who can visit primary and secondary schools to help achieve their maths potential.
